One Direction star Harry Styles has admitted to taking up yoga to help heal his bad back.
The boyband member told The Jonathan Ross Show – which aired on Saturday (November 16th) – that he decided to start practising the stress management as an alternative to ballet – which had been recommended to him by his osteopath.
The 19-year-old suffers pain because his legs are different lengths, according to Female First, which says that one measures around half-an-inch longer than the other.
It also said that Harry apparently originally blamed the injury on a physically-taxing paper round that he used to do when he was younger.
However, it is not known why he opted to practice yoga instead of ballet, with the former X Factor contestant reported to have previously undergone classes in the dance discipline in an attempt to emulate Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.
According to Sugar Scape, he has also had past experiences of yoga, after taking up Bikram yoga while on tour with One Direction in Australia. However, it is understood that the star did not pursue the pastime, as the heat made him feel too uncomfortable.
