As identified on Stressmanagement.co.uk last year, even Gordon Brown has woken up to the fact that the country is heading for a depression, let alone a recession .

The increasing uncertainty in employment, the panic rate cuts by the Bank of England, the falling house prices and the collapse of the retail sector have all contributed to the increase of stress on individuals, families, children and the general society.

Stress is now leading to increased fear almost on a daily basis and we are already starting to see signs of anger too, something that was identified here at Stressmanagement.co.uk. The result is that civil unrest is already sweeping through some countries in Europe many developed countries and even Russia.

It is unlikely that we are going to get out this situation in the near future, so, what should we be doing now to help regain some sense of calmness, address anxieties, worries and fears?

It is essential that as people face traumas or hear of other human beings losing their jobs, losing their homes and even losing their health as a direct result of these irresponsible actions of Bankers and Politicians, should cultivate a "clear head" in order to make the right decisions for yourself and your family.

Mindfulness has proven itself as a safe simple technique that will remove stress, anxieties and worries, enabling you to find your way out of the circumstances we have all been pushed into.
